Debu bertebaran mengisi sudut-sudut hampa di udara. Terik matahari menyempurnakan siang. Kemacetan jalanan menjadi pemandangan yang menghiasi hari-hari kotaku. Kakekku bilang, kotaku di tahun 60-an begitu hening. Hanya ada satu atau dua kendaraan dijalanan. Persawahan masih membentang luas, dibelah jalanan. Udaranya? Jangan Tanya. Siangnya sesejuk embun di pagi hari katanya. Orang-orang barat biasa menyebut kotaku the flower city, entahlah kenapa disebut seperti itu.
